About Lawrence Lazare
Lawrence has been an avid photographer ever since his mother passed along her trusted Agfa Karat 36 viewfinder back when he was a teenager. He has studied photography at Manhattan’s New School and at Hampshire College. He has spent the past 38 years working with large format cameras to DSLRs. He has a particular passion for infrared photography as well as a love of shooting landscapes and still lifes.
Over the years Lawrence has found that his passion for photography gets reignited every time he gets a new camera. Five years ago it was a Nikon Coolpix that had a replacement sensor so that it could only see infrared light. Four years ago it was an iPhone that got him started up again, using either the Hipstamatic or VividHDR apps. His recent iPhonegraphy work has been featured on photography sites such as “The App Whisperer”, “iPhoneography Central” and “Mobiography”.
